Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is seeking a Labor Standards Administrator to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site (SRS). 

 

 

The Labor Standards Administrator provides oversight compliance for all planned work activities to ensure adherence with the Davis-Bacon Act, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR, part 22), and Department of Energy Acquisition Regulations (DEAR, 970.2273).   Maintains databases and provides weekly reporting of Labor Standards findings to the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Augusta Building and Construction Trades.  Conducts and maintains Davis-Bacon training for all applicable employees.  Assists with Davis-Bacon subcontract administration and compliance. 

Responsibilities

  • Reviews all construction and operations work packages in Asset Suite and Maximo that are estimated at $2,000.00 or greater for Davis-Bacon applicability. Sends weekly results report to DOE for concurrence.
  • Review and understand both electrical and mechanical blueprints while evaluating Design Change Forms (DCPs) and Design Change Packages (DCPs)
  • Provides oversight and Davis-Bacon Training for all SRMC facilities, operations service groups, and construction craft on Labor Standards requirements as it pertains to the Davis-Bacon Act.
  • Ensures compliance with FAR22S and SRMC work control processes as described in Manual 1Y procedure 8.20.
  • Coordinates formal reviews by management for Labor Standards applicability questions when required; meets with offsite Augusta Building Trades when requested.
  • Regularly attends meetings and gives presentations to various customers in a professional manner.
  • Assists in establishing positive working relationships between the Augusta Building and Construction Trades and SRMC vendor subcontractors.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and/or experience; and
  • Experience in the field of labor relations, construction or work package creation and administration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with SRS work planning software, knowledge of Manual 1B procedure 3.64A and experience with collective bargaining units

Minimum Pay

USD $82,896.00/Yr.

Maximum Pay

USD $149,208.00/Yr.
