Overview

 

Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) is seeking a Manager, Closure and Disposal Assessment to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site.

 

The Manager, Closure and Disposal Assessment is responsible for the implementation and support of the DOE O 435.1 and DOE M 435.1-1 Performance Assessments (PAs), Composite Analysis (CA) and Special Analyses (SAs) for SRMC.  These activities are critical to continued disposal of salt waste at the Saltstone Disposal Facility and waste tank cleaning and closure activities.  Responsible for managerial oversight of the support activities and personnel for these programs.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and/or develops, maintains, and revises DOE M 435.1-1 Performance Assessments (PAs) and Special Analyses (SAs) for F Tank Farm, H Tank Farm and Saltstone Disposal Facility.
  • Produces/defends UWMQEs for Liquid Waste facilities
  • Develops, maintains, and revises DOE M 435.1-1 Composite Analysis (CA) and SAs for SRS
  • Produces/defends UCAQEs for SRS facilities
  • Provides technical support for NRC Monitoring activities
  • Coordinates R&D activities supporting PA and CA maintenance
  • Issues PA and CA Annual Reports & Maintenance Plans
  • Develops/directs PA and CA Implementation Activities
  • Supports DOE programs related to DOE M 435.1-1, LFRG, and Technology Development activities
  • Provides management to staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering or related science and related experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with DOE O 435.1 PA programs.

Minimum Pay

USD $128,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Pay

USD $220,000.00/Yr.
