Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is seeking a Training Coordinator to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site (SRS).

The Training Coordinator updates training databases with completed, scheduled, and modified training status.  Maintains the Learning Management System (LMS) date entry and reporting used to distribute Qualification Cards to employees who require them.  Provides customer service to managers and employees to respond and resolve questions on the status or scheduling of training. 

• Schedules training for assigned group(s)
• Performs Learning Management System (LMS) administrative duties as required by facility procedures including, but not limited to, the following:
  • Creates/revises qualification cards
  • Assigns new employees to appropriate qualification cards
  • Generates and distributes LMS-based reports (e.g., training schedules, qualification status, upcoming training forecasts)
• Processes training completion records in accordance with Manuel 4B and Training organization requirements
• Prepares course material transmittals and submits to Site Training Records in accordance with Manuel 4B
• Routes training documents for electronic review and approval
• Issues Required Reading and tracks completion status
• Develops and maintains organization administrative tools
• Assists training staff with ad hoc projects or requests
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma/GED and related office experience as defined in the job description.

• General knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation computer applications
• Previous experience in a Department of Energy (DOE) organization

Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC), a prime contractor for the US Department of Energy, is responsible for managing the Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site’s Liquid Waste operations contract. Located in Aiken, South Carolina, SRMC is a limited liability company formed by nuclear operations and environmental remediation global leaders BWXT, Amentum, and Fluor.
